NCR stands for "No Carbon Required." It refers to a chemical coating process that transfers writing or printing pressure from the top sheet to the sheets below without using traditional carbon paper.
CB (Coated Back) has microcapsules on the back that release ink. CF (Coated Front) has a reactive clay that receives the image. CFB is coated on both sides and is used as the middle ply to both receive and transfer an image.
The standard set is a CB top sheet, one or more CFB middle sheets, and a CF bottom sheet. You can customize the order and number of plies (2-part, 3-part, 4-part) depending on your form requirements.
