NCR (No Carbon Required) top paper โ also called CB (Coated Back) โ is the first sheet in a multi-part form. Its back side contains micro-encapsulated dye that transfers image pressure to the middle and bottom sheets. Unlike bond, it eliminates messy carbon sheets and produces instant, legible copies.
For standard 2โ to 4โpart forms, 45 gsm CB top paper is the most common. If your application requires heavy handling or filing, 50โ55 gsm provides extra tear resistance. We can supply a free A4 sample swatch so you can test feel and imaging.
Yes. We custom slit NCR top paper to widths from 48โฏmm to 480โฏmm, with core sizes 50โฏmm or 76โฏmm. Perforation, micro-perf, and printed logos are available. Lead time: 7โ12 days for OEM orders.
Every 30 minutes, our QC lab measures CF intensity using a Macbeth densitometer (target โฅโฏ0.62 for CB). Coating weight is monitored via online X-ray gauging. A batch-specific CoA (Certificate of Analysis) is included with every shipment.
We ship via LCL/FCL sea (20โ30โฏdays) and air freight (5โ8โฏdays). For urgent orders, we partner with DHL Express. All NCR rolls are vacuum-sealed in moisture-proof PE + kraft paper wrap to prevent curling.
