Not reliably. Standard carbonless paper is designed for impact printers, dot matrix, or inkjet. Laser printers generate high fuser heat (180–230°C), which can cause smudging, image ghosting, and paper curl. Kingcolor’s ncr laser paper uses a heat-stable micro-capsule coating that performs flawlessly in laser engines.
NCR stands for “No Carbon Required.” It is a carbonless copy paper that uses micro-encapsulated dye and clay coatings to transfer marks from the top sheet to the sheets below – without messy carbon sheets. Our ncr laser paper applies this same principle but is optimized for laser printing.
We offer 2-part, 3-part, 4-part, and 5-part pre-collated sets in the standard white/canary/pink/gold/green sequence. Custom sequences (e.g., all white with micro-print) are available on OEM orders of 500+ reams.
