Carbonless paper A5 (also called NCR paper) is a 148×210 mm sheet coated with micro-encapsulated dye on the back (CB) and a reactive clay on the front (CF). Pressure from writing or printing breaks the capsules, transferring the image to the next sheet — no carbon paper needed. It is widely used for 2–6 part forms.
For standard 2–3 part forms, 55–60 gsm is ideal. For 4–6 part sets or heavier use, we recommend 70–80 gsm to prevent show-through. We can mix grammages per ply to optimise cost and performance.
