Thermal print stickers (also called direct thermal labels) consist of a base paper or synthetic facestock coated with a leuco-dye thermal coating that turns black when heated by a thermal print head. They require no ink, toner or ribbon — just heat. Kingcolor offers paper, polypropylene and polyester variants for different durability needs.
