It refers to the width of the paper roll (2.25 inches or 57mm). This is the standard width for most POS systems, credit card terminals, and kiosks in North America.

What core size is compatible with standard POS printers?

Most Epson, Star, and Clover printers use a 1/2" (12.7mm) core. However, mobile and kiosk printers may use 3/8" (9.5mm) or 3/4" (19mm). We recommend checking your printer manual or contacting our support team.
