Direct thermal sticker paper has a chemically coated face that darkens when heated — no ribbon, no ink. It's ideal for short- to medium-life applications (shipping labels, receipts, retail tags). Thermal transfer uses a ribbon and works best for long-lasting, high-durability labels. Kingcolor offers both, but our direct thermal sticker paper is engineered for high-speed printing with excellent image retention (≥ 2 years under normal conditions).
