The three main chemistries are acrylic (water‑based or solvent), hot‑melt (rubber‑based), and silicone (for high‑temperature release). Acrylic offers the best UV and aging resistance; hot‑melt provides high initial tack; silicone is used for specialty release liners. Kingcolor produces all three.
Permanent adhesive is ideal for asset labels, shipping barcodes, and warnings – it forms a strong bond and resists tampering. Removable adhesive is preferred for price tags, promotional labels, or surfaces that must remain clean after removal. We recommend peel adhesion values: >15 N/25mm for permanent, 6–12 N/25mm for removable.
Yes. We reverse‑engineer your current sticker adhesive using FTIR and DSC analysis. Within 5 business days we can provide a formulation that matches 95%+ of the performance characteristics. We also offer custom branding (your logo on the release liner) and exclusive formulation rights.
Our standard MOQ for custom adhesive coatings is 1,000 rolls (various sizes). For stock adhesives we accept 500 rolls. We also offer a “Testing & Approval” service with just 100 rolls for new customers – so you can validate before scaling.
We follow a strict SPC (Statistical Process Control) system: coating weight is monitored in real time with X-ray fluorescence gauges. Every batch is tested for peel adhesion, shear resistance, and loop tack. A full Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is provided with each shipment.
Absolutely. Our KC-401 and KC-502 formulations are FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (indirect food contact) and 21 CFR 175.300 (resinous and polymeric coatings) compliant. For direct food contact labels we also offer a special grade that meets EU 10/2011 migration limits.
We use DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) express via DHL/FedEx – transit time is 5–9 business days from Shenzhen to any US warehouse. For bulk orders, sea freight (CY/CY) takes 18–25 days at a lower cost. All shipments are fully insured and tracked.
